As Toronto Inide Night expands, we have chose to use Film Free way for all submissions moving forward.
Please send us an email at Submissions@torontoindienight.com and let us know if you would like a waver.
Waver priority is given to Canadian Film Makers, Members of marginalized communities, and artists whom we already have a working relationship with.
We accept all kinds of media. If you have made it, we are interested in it.
Yes, we have a group of judges that help create the line up for every indie night. They are a diverse group of industry professionals. We often announce who our jury members are, but only after submissions have closed.
To help keep Toronto Indie Night Operational. With the expansion into a bigger venue, and the volume in which submissions are being sent to us, we felt it was time to make the switch.
We are still committed to our mandate to keep this festival affordable and accessible for all artists. We are able to offer several waver codes per showcase, so reach out to us at Info@TorontoIndieNight.com
Our Director, Shannon Would be happy to get to know you, your film and talk about a waver code.
But it is not a requirement for us. Far from it actually.
Short answer: anything
We are interested in story. It could be a short film, web series, actra co-op, Proof of concept, you name it.
We are happy to hear from emerging and established artists a like. We are not looking for excellence, but do hold ourself to an industry standard.
Dont wait for submissions to close. We curate the showcase as we go so the sooner you submit the sooner, the better your chances of being accepted are.
not accepted into this showcase? never fare, we often can not accept everyone who submits. Since the event happens multiple times a year there is always the next event. There is no need to re submit. And if there is, we will give you a waver!
